PROGNOSIS CANCER WASTING
According to conservative estimates, more than 40% of certain cancer patients actually die from malnutrition (secondary wasting syndrome) not from the cancer.
According to the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, “More than half of cancer patients will have experienced weight loss at the time of diagnosis. This sign contributes to a poor prognosis. By the time of death, nearly all cancer patients will have experienced some degree of weight loss.”

Cancer patients are routinely given conventional treatments that have little or no effect on their cancer. Many types of cancer either fail to respond to chemotherapy and radiotherapy or show insignificant responses. While the failure conventional treatment in many types of cancer has long been known, there is an even darker side.
Patients exposed to the toxicity of these treatments often experience side effects including: immune depression, gastrointestinal damage, and wasting syndrome. These side effects impair the body’s natural ability to fight the disease, reduce quality of life, and hasten disease progression.
